How this Freak of Comic Nature Came to Be

Daniel Hunter has always loved comic strips. His first was Calvin & Hobbes. From the first time he was introduced to it in elementary school (maybe earlier), he's adored it. The day when C&H ended in 1995 was crippling to him. Over the years, he's remained a faithful C&H zealot, and has memorized every strip. Example: one day at Paul's house, David and Paul would read the first panel of a comic and Daniel would complete the strip from memory. Though he wasn't perfect, it was impressive nonetheless. Anyway, one day in October of 2001 Daniel was first told of web-comics. The one who enlightened him held the name of Brad (i don't know his last name), a college student who used to work with Daniel at the library. He told Daniel of MegaTokyo. Daniel was amazed and his love of comics was renewed. His intrest spread to other comics (check out the links page!). This also renewed his own artwork and gave him influence and his skill was increased tenfold (well, not quite, but it got a LOT better). He drew a few comics about he and friends (you'll see them someday). He showed them to people, and was amazed by how much people liked them. At the time, Daniel was only drawing the occational group picture. He was ready for the next step, a true comic. He knew he could use Keenspace, however, he needed a story and knowledge of HTML. He told Adesh of his idea and again was amazed; this time by Adesh's shared intrest in the idea. Thus, Daniel decided ona story about he and his friends learning to be sci-fi and fantasy type heroes and saving the world. Adesh agreed to help with the story and site design. Daniel thought of the name "Conglomeration". For some reason, he liked it a lot. And so, Daniel signed up for Keenspace. Then he and Adesh waited many weeks. Then, on the seventh of July, Keenspace e-mailed Daniel telling him that his web hosting was ready. And that, as they say, is that.
